Which Blow Torch? - Jimmygixxer - 05-11-12 Im lookin to remove the downpipes. Id prefere to heat the nuts beforehand to try and avoid shearing a couple off. Which king of blowtorch would be best for small intricate work, powerfull enough & not cost the earth? Heat should work pretty well, I've just removed the downpipes and exhaust from my burnt down bike :'( and the nuts practically fell off but I wouldn't recommend subjecting your bike to a garage fire... (good for lighting your fags off as well) Re: Which Blow Torch? - Fazerider - 05-11-12 I've used an ordinary hot air gun, on the high setting with a constricting nozzle they can get things red hot in a few minutes.
