Re: flu jab - pete786.u - 26-10-12

Because of my Heart condition I have one every year, had mine done a couple of weeks ago, don`t know it`s been done and never get any side effects.

Re: flu jab - JZS 600 - 26-10-12

Never noticed any after effects from ay flu job I've had before except for a little bit of tenderness and a few hours after..

Re: flu jab - DILLIGAFF - 26-10-12

Never had one as I think they protect you against last year's virus?
Anyhoo, I don't travel on public transport much these days and that seems to be the easiest way to catch flu.

Re: flu jab - ddtwelve - 26-10-12

I too work for the nhs and they say its norm as another younger colleuge all his arm went numbĀ  :lol

The jab's contents is decided in February, so there's no protection against anything since then.

However, regarding public transport, I recently read that travelling that way actually strengthens your immune system as you are frequently exposed to various bugs Smile

Re: flu jab - Jacko - 27-10-12

Had one yesterday at work.
arm a bit sore but ok.
had it for the last 10 years with no issues and no flu.

Re: flu jab - manuel32 - 27-10-12

You only build up an immunity if you catch it and your white cells destroy and make antibodies to defeat it next time it goes up your nose. i think

Re: flu jab - monkeyb0b - 31-10-12

Had mine a few days ago due to past heart issues and asthma, arms a bit tender where I was stabbed but otherwise ok.

I'd consider going back if it is still an issue Sad

Re: flu jab - MadDogMcQ - 31-10-12

Same here - no ill effects any time I've had the flu-jab.

Re: flu jab - limax2 - 31-10-12
