Micron Slip On - old son - 04-10-12 What do you people think of the quality of a Micron slip on. The one I am looking at has a removable baffle. Mike has modified boots etc. Will it work OK with a Micron can? Re: Micron Slip On - smegfish1 - 04-10-12 I've got a micron end can with ivan's and it's fine. Infact it's more than fine, smooth as silk and sounds realy nice as well! :lol Re: Micron Slip On - allanmac - 04-10-12 Micron always made pretty good kit had one on my blade and was happy enough with it. Cheers Allan Re: Micron Slip On - MEM62 - 04-10-12 Micron is decent kit. Re: Micron Slip On - purplebear7 - 05-10-12 Good Kit for sure :b ... but did they not go bust a couple of years back ? :\ ? Mind what you buy Old Son .. you might get 'stitched up' with a crap lookalike from The Far Flung or beyond :o Quite a few other good quality, legal and throaty sounding cans for a 'Gen 1 Full Monty' our there. Stay Safe Mate, Trev Re: Micron Slip On - old son - 05-10-12 My MTC sounds like it is about to fall to bits. I didnt want a race pipe and the original is too loud. I saw the Micron on eBay, nobody bid on it so I made the guy an offer. Its only a work bike so it sounds like the Micron will do the trick. Thanks for your input. Re: Micron Slip On - PieEater - 05-10-12 If you are the original owner of the can and believe it is now faulty I would contact MTC to explore the options of having it looked at under MTC’s lifetime warranty. Worst case you might have to pay for it to be repacked but this could work out cheaper in the long run than buying a second hand can which potentially will develop the same issues if it doesn't have them already. Re: Micron Slip On - old son - 06-10-12 Unfortunately I am not the original owner and I have been told a rebuild is around £100!! Re: Micron Slip On - old son - 12-10-12 Bit of a boobo!! The exhaust is actually a Blue Flame Evo. MTC are deciding how much they would want to repair the exhast. Micron now in place and sounds OK. Can is a bit too long though. |
