Helmet advice - HarryHornby - 29-08-12 I'm looking to change my helmet, does anyone know of any helmets that fit my list of "must haves"? I currently have a laser fibre d1, it's my first and only helmet, I may even stick with one of these, but wondered what else is out there. Good for glasses wearers Has a pinlock ready visor (my current helmet has pinlock and I swear by it, in 3 1/2 years of commuting only my glasses have ever fogged up) Has double D ring - I'm sceptible of how a quick release system would perform being used day in day out, commuting. I've found helmets that seem to match 2 of my 3 requirements but not all 3. Cheers in advance. Re: Helmet advice - Lazarus - 29-08-12 HTC IS16 helmet - Pinlock Ready with D-Lock and I wear glasses. Once the helmet is on, i dont feel the glasses at all. Re: Helmet advice - markbubble - 02-09-12 i wear glasses also and i think its best you try loads of different makes (and models )on to get a great fit and comfy for you,i used to work in bike shop and everyones heads are different so dont just say i need(for example) and xl helmet and got to be a (example)shoei as what is great for one person isnt for another,it will also come down to cost and the maybe the looks,iv got a high viz duchi helmet now, mega comfy, doesnt mist great for me with glasses and everyone has more chance of seeing you!its dd ring as well and was mega cheap! |
