havent had my bike started for quite some time ! the end of april I think !
I got a new battery a few weeks err months or more ago and fitted it this morning !
suprised as its quite a bit smaller than the last one , I thought oh dear here we go ! but it fitted fine !
Then ! the start button alarm bleeped then bleeped off ! hit the button and nothing dead ! OOps still in gear ! slap ! turning it over a few times very quickly with no choke and no risk of firing !
Choke out and bang ! away it went fantastic ! then the rev counter started on the old exup warning !!! 7K
oh dear ! still rode to work still giving the 7K
just nipped out to do it ! cover off wobbled the pully and started it again ! RESULT the 7K cleared !
now for a clean tyre pressures and oil check !
oh bugger got to get my tax as well !

tax runs out end of this month and gave tyres a squeese before riding to work I also gave the brakes a good pump ! :nana :2fingers
long ride to work must be nearly a mile but dont worry once evrything was up to spec I more than made up for it !
front and rear tyre were both down about 5psi not bad for that length of time !

The other year after a long winter lay up, I was so excited to get her out, and forgot to check her rubbery bits, got her out the shed and rode her without checking her out, 12 psi in her rear.
Luckily was only warming her up in the close. :rollin :rolleyes :rollin

So you didn't ride it over 'summer' now you'll ride it over winter? Brilliant, bet the roads will be empty (and drier) :lol

Why does, it piss down on your day off? Time after time ? And as usual today when it's stopped raining and sunny when it's too late to get out :'(
