Engine bars V Crash bungs - Noj - 14-08-12 Having got a belly pan fitted I was told that the Yamaha bars would not fit and crash bungs were the only solution. Is there any other bars that would do the job with out modifying the belly panel? Are crash bungs a good solution? I am thinking of doing gymkhana with the bike so low speed spills are highly likly. Re: Engine bars V Crash bungs - MadDogMcQ - 14-08-12 I have bungs fitted but for out and out protection, I feel that good engine bars afford greater protection for what you have in mind. You could always remove your bellypan temporarily until you've got the gymkhana out of your system. Re: Engine bars V Crash bungs - Noj - 14-08-12 Good point, seams a lot of work. There must be another solution. Thanks though. ![]() Re: Engine bars V Crash bungs - Falcon 269 - 14-08-12 Why risk expensive damage to your #1 ride competing as a novice in gymkhana?
