4year old S2 Fazer for sale - sirclippliers - 12-08-12
Hi, I'm looking to generate some interest in my 4 year old Fazer S2 I'm trying to sell. She has been on the market for a while now and I need rid of her. She is on an 08 plate, about 18,000 miles on the clock, Silver, Givi top box mount (no box), recently taxed, tested in April or May this year. Clean bike never dropped, only light scratches in places. New front pads fitted on test. Pictures are available. Bike is in North Yorkshire, I'm not. Reasonable offers considered.

If you had read some of the previous posts in the For Sale section you may have noticed the scathing comments some members make to those who come onto this Forum just to sell stuff. This tends to be a social forum and is not an extention of Ebay.
Generally a little post in the Introduction section, introducing yourself would not have gone a-miss.
In addition you are not exactly "selling" your bike very well based on your comments so posting pictures would help.
Don't leave us guessing about price and location either (why is the bike in one location and you are not?)......tell us where you are and how much you want otherwise you will get appropriate comments/offers. :rolleyes

Hi, I joined a fazer owners club some time ago, I thought it was this one and I did put some comments on there, bit strange as when I found this one it allowed me to log in with the member name and password. As to your other comments "people come on here just to sell", isn't this the "for sale/wanted" page? Also the reason for my not being in the same location as the bike is that I am working away and I need to sell the bike to pay for shipping my dogs halfway round the world. Nothing untoward I assure you. I'm trying to be a bit more careful as someone recently tried to buy the bike and it turned out to be a con and the bike would have gone missing, thankfully my wife managed to find out before it was too late. (Some scrote bag pretending to be RAF personnel to appear more trustworthy). I have photos I can post if anyone was even slightly interested. I have had the bike since August 2010 and haven't really used it that much (had a second car), she has just been retaxed and I MOT'd her this year, could have been april or may, at the Manor Bike Cafe in Bellerby, North Yorkshire (garage attached). Trouble is there is that many people trying to rip people off, how much detail do you put in ads? I am unable to use the bike and would prefer someone else to have the pleasure, and its too much time and money to get her down here.

As Flesh has hinted. You could 'generate some interest' in the sale by posting pics, give an idea of price and lots more details on the bike.
