I m working other wise I would have joined you, another time maybe, its a cracking route if your on the roads I would take.

Re: Run out Saturday - Start Nottingham area - badger - 10-08-12

Normal route is local roads out of Hucknall
BB386 - oxton - southwell
A612 Southwell - thurgaton
A6097 - Bingham
Local road through Bingham, past langar, langar airfield, harby.
Harby on to Waltham on the Wolds
Past the waltham transmitter [awesome sight close up] to garthorpe
B676 Garthorpe to Melton
B6047 melton to Market Harborough

I normally come back along the B664 through uppingham to oakham and then melton nottingham.
Its approx 140 miles but a cracking run

Steve - no problems maybe next time.

Farjo - i haven't got a garmin or gps so cannot see the route  Sad I have been round quite  a few times so was OK Big Grin  Could of done with a tractor alert fixed to the bike tho, the farmers were out in earnest abviously harvesting while they can !
