Question for posh foccers - locksmith - 07-07-12 Can you buy caviar in morrisons or sainsbury's etc? Having a dinner party tonight and when asked I said we're having champagne and caviar, which thinking about would be a giggle to serve it as they arrive! What would you serve it on as a canape? Re: Question for posh foccers - caretaker - 07-07-12 i think m&s do one in some stores. make sure its the proper one. marks do a sevruga which isnt cheap, but dont go for the lumpfish stuff. its not the real thing. as for how to serve it, look up jamieoliveronline. I have tried some of the cheaper stuff (lump fish roe etc) and a no to that as well but should impress just tell them the stuff you have is Beluga and see what they say :fish Re: Question for posh foccers - goldfazer - 09-07-12 Not sure but I think the housekeeper gets it delivered from Fortnums. Re: Question for posh foccers - JZS 600 - 09-07-12 Jesus, it's like eating salty balls! (not that I'd know what that was LIKE, I'll have you know) Re: Question for posh foccers - Phil TK - 09-07-12 A rather vulgar woman, who I used to know, told me that caviar in fact tastes exactly like semen. And somehow after that, I've found myself politely declining the stuff when it's been offered. :\ Re: Question for posh foccers - Phil TK - 09-07-12 (08-07-12, 01:12 PM)locksmith link Wrote: they got gobbled up in record time! How apt indeed.. Re: Question for posh foccers - locksmith - 09-07-12 Got a little left in the fridge, I'll taste it on it's own to see why my wife refuses to..........well you know :lol Re: Question for posh foccers - locksmith - 09-07-12 Well I tasted it and can't see the problem, think I'll hold her head from now on.
