Auto Chain Oilers - madog - 01-06-12 I've decided i'm sick of oiling chains, no matter how hard I try I makeĀ a mess. Plus i've started doing much longer runs of late. So, auto chain oilers, is there really any other choice than a Scottoiler, Anyone using other systems and pleased with results Re: Auto Chain Oilers - mcyoungy - 01-06-12 Not what you asked, but I use a vac type Scottoiler on every bike I own - the same one in fact - and it's brilliant. Re: Auto Chain Oilers - peejay - 01-06-12 Is this any help? http://www.motorcyclenews.com/upload/Ride%20Magazine/Product%20test%20pdfs/Chain%20oiler%20test.pdf Re: Auto Chain Oilers - JZS 600 - 01-06-12 http://www.carbonforbikes.com/index.php?XTCsid=0e33e878e0c15f864b9fe459505674f1 what about this? I had a scott oiler once on a ZX6R and it was a PITA, it pissed the oil all over the place and when I turned it down the chain went red, couldn't find a happy medium as I commuted during the week and thrashed it at the weekends. My Fazer had a Scott Oiler fitted but I let it run out and never refillled it. It used to piss the oil all over the garage floor when I got in at night. This solid carbon stuff looks good but I don't know anyone who has used it. Any reviews out there? Re: Auto Chain Oilers - madog - 01-06-12 (01-06-12, 11:51 AM)peejay link Wrote: Is this any help?
