tyres soaked in diesel - sadlonelygit - 25-05-12

what's best to clean them with? drove (very gingerly) to a dusty car park and did a few laps to get some crap on the tyres and have ridden through some muddy puddles as well.
should i be worried about rubber degradation etc.

Why did you soak your tyres in diesel?

Or how did this happen?

Re: tyres soaked in diesel - sadlonelygit - 25-05-12

there was a pool of it sitting in a dip by some traffic lights..... :\
i was a few vehicles back and just went with the flow, too busy looking for a gap to nip through and then the back just span up, the front washed out, only some frantic dabbing kept it upright.
