This day just keeps getting f$%king better.  Rushing to get the bike in out of the rain, dropped it, tank fell off and has a huge dent and paint all off, fell over the top and totally f^&ked my shin.

B0LLoCKS  Sad

Think you go in from the top and there's a screw between each pair of carbs but not I've not done this yet so can't be completely sure

Thanks for that mate, those photos helped.  I'm going to need a much longer and thinner screwdriver!

Sat here feeling very sorry for myself, wondering if to take my shin to A&E  Sad  Very swollen and bloody, but probably just bruised.

Oh c0ck.

Re: FZS600 Carb Synch - DryRob - 10-04-12

unlucky mate, probably best to go for an X-ray to make sure but at least take some Ibuprofen to keep the swelling down

Re: FZS600 Carb Synch - Andy Clap - 10-04-12

Job done.  A lot easier to see the screws in the shed with a torch than outside in the sun.

I'm sure the leg is fine.  Having watched my wife give birth makes me stop and reconsider if I'm really in so much pain, or just being a wimp  Smile

Thanks for the help chaps, please feel free to bin/move this Admins.

Just had my first stab at using a Morgan.  Worked like a charm!

Shame I didn't know until after the event that the cross bar needs shifting to get access to the screws!  Thankfully it only needed minor adjustment between 1+2 and 3+4 - which I could get to.

Does make you wonder who thought that burying the screws so far in the bike made good sense...

Satisfying job, isn't it?  Get instant results, unlike an oil change or the like.
Means you get to buy a cool tool as well (yes, I'm sad). The tool pouch is deffo worth having.
