Stolen Suzuki GS125 Milton Keynes area - FuZzBoM - 08-04-12

Hi all, i know this isn't the norm but thought i would post on the off chance someone sees it.
anyway its a Suzuki GS125 in red. reg no. X929 EGS and was being stored in the father in laws shed.
He lives in Furzton if you know MK..

It is the other half's bike and she is rather upset as it was of the road and not insured. so a total loss...

it would also seem there have been a few thefts of late so lock your bikes up people..

thanks,

Hi all, Just in case anyone is interested the bike has been found. 2 kids were riding it on a local cycle path. left this onto the road and hit a car.. they then ran off from the scene of the crash.

police later picked up the kids but of course they deny all the crimes.

The bike is currently in an impound with the police wanting to do DNA testing. i am assuming more for the RTA than the theft.

even if they do get prosecuted i bet it will be no more than a telling off....

If any other foccers live in the Milton Keynes area there have been lots of thefts this last 2 weeks so keep an eye out.

I wonder if there is some sort of victims fund you could claim off?

Seems a bit OTT doing DNA analysis for a theft or RTA.  I'd have thought it would have cost too much?

Anyway, suppose it's good that it's not in bits on eBay!

Re: Stolen Suzuki GS125 Milton Keynes area - FuZzBoM - 12-04-12

In honesty the time and effort i doubt it Will be worth it.
funny thing is they must have spent money on it to get it running. it had no petrol. the tyres were flat and deformed and i doubt would hold pressure. also no battery..

kinda gotta give them credit for getting it running lol.

yeah i agree DNA for a bike worth a max of £500 is ott but i dint know the details of the crash.
