radiator hoses - solorider - 01-04-12

as one of my hoses is leaking slightly so will need replacement and is £50 i am looking at a set of samco hoses which are £140 a set,but as the stock colour is blue so will be the quickest as i need them asap so will blue hoses look ok on a red bike?

Re: radiator hoses - solorider - 01-04-12

i have contacted the seller and he only has blue hoses,i will have to wait 4 weeks to get some black ones

basicaly the same,on ebay you can buy a complete engine set rather than singley, but on demon tweaks the hose i need was not shown as mine is the bottom hose that is leaking

IMHO you will regret it, buy the red tape (it fixes holes and splits and is waterproof and seals pretty good) from demon tweeks as a stop gap then order the red or black samco hoses.
bobs ye uncle fannys ye aunt and all looks nicely for the long hot summer ride outs Smile

the problem is the leak i have is from where the bottom hose joins the radiator, basicaly the jubilee clib has deformed the hose and as the bike has done 70k miles the hose is not as good as it could,it may seal itself over a period of time and if it does then i could wait for the hoses

slacken n slide  jubilee out the way,  wack the tape on and refit jubilee for a tad more than 10 english beer tokens its worth the effort

Anyone know the I'd of the bottom hose as I may be able to buy a length of hose as it is not to curved so should be ok with a straight piece of hose?
