Carb Synch Tool Recommendations - Andy Clap - 21-03-12 Anybody recommend a carb synch tool. Is is worth forking out the extra for a Carbtune? Cheers. Exactly.. 8) Re: Carb Synch Tool Recommendations - FuZzBoM - 26-03-12 I have a cheap EBay one, wish i had gone for a carbtune.. The needles are not damped very well so flick up and down like nobodies business. only way i could do it was hold the revs at a steady 3000 rpm and then let go and adjust. it now idles better than it did before and runs better so it looks to have worked. long story short.. get a carbtune..... Re: Carb Synch Tool Recommendations - HarryHornby - 26-03-12 I bought a carbtune, have never used anything else, but I reckon its worth the extra few quid. Re: Carb Synch Tool Recommendations - bikemad62 - 26-03-12 I use my gauges with great success, If you put in the damper valves they are fine. Re: Carb Synch Tool Recommendations - unfazed - 29-03-12 Well worth the investment, but make sure you check the TPS setting after balancing the carbs |
