battery terminal bolts

that sort of thing ?

Re: battery bolts - bikerboys - 09-03-12

Normal steel bolts should be fine as long as the metal to metal contact is clean. As always with batteries a little grease on the terminals after you have tightened them is good to prevent corriosion.  Wink

If it's the same as the FZS, the standard bolts are hex with a Philips slot in them anyway.  If you can get one out it goes into a square nut under the terminal.  Any hardware, motor factors or even B&Q should be able to supply you with a couple of bolts with the right thread.

screwfix ?

Re: battery bolts - Major Rant - 10-03-12

Its a standard short 10mm bolt. I lost one and replaced it with one from my kids swing.

They provide a hexagon top with a philips slot just so you can undo it with either tool
How thoughtfull eh?  Smile .

An allen bolt would be OK with me if it was the right length
