Just rode in to town! - dogruff - 05-02-12 Hi guys,Great site! Just parted with the old Exup(gettin'on a bit) and ended up with a FZS600s.Unsure what to do with the old girl yet as shes had a minorish bump to the front end.At the end of the day she's good craic on the road and is definitely a keeper.Just finding my way round it at present,as i do most of my own work.May try the headlight mod or attempt to MKII the front end,may even just go for a respray in an odd non standard colour. Well thats it from rainy old Belfast at the moment.Nice to see the old Fazers being given the respect they deserve,Cheers,D. Re: Just rode in to town! - Fazerjon - 05-02-12 Enjoy it mate! they are superb bikes, they do everything well, easy to work on and theres plenty of info on this site to keep you on the road. ![]() Re: Just rode in to town! - dogruff - 05-02-12 Cheers FJ.Bit of work to do to the old girl but only 22k on clock, verified.Bought a set of renthal lows to replace the bent tin foil oems.then the respray begins,Maybe white with RD80 decals in red,if they blend,or lime green all over. Spin of a coin really. Re: Just rode in to town! - Farjo - 06-02-12 Hi dogruff but really? Lime green???? Re: Just rode in to town! - dogruff - 06-02-12 Yo Farjo,Just a thought, but when the Guinness googles are off and reality kicks in it's really too Kawasaki for me.Maybe i should spin a dice,as i would have 6 options then.Really would like to go non-standard - Love the Kenny Roberts yellow, but i'm a massive Sheene fan(how i got into bikes).Maybe Akai scheme ,not sure.Obviously needs looked into a wee bit more. Re: Just rode in to town! - Farjo - 06-02-12 There's a post under 'Articles' / 'For any bike' with many re-sprays, just to confuse you a bit more ![]() |
