mounting a "fender extender" - His Dudeness - 19-01-12 i got one of these to stop crap getting thrown up onto the bike from the front wheel but it attaches using screws and i dont really want to drill holes in the front mudgard. so does anyone have an alternative way to mount them? Re: mounting a "fender extender" - Fazerider - 19-01-12 I glued mine on with silicone sealant. Was a bit doubtful about how secure that would be at first, but it's stayed put for 12 years all-weather riding so far. ![]() Re: mounting a "fender extender" - His Dudeness - 19-01-12 cool. do you know the name of the stuff u used? Just to be sure, I roughed up the mating surfaces first & then left if for 24 hours to set with clamps holding them together.
