Hi Chaps

Anyone got any experiance of these - looks genuine and ok but still a little unsure if they are a worthy replacment for the stock ones ??

Any thoughts ??

Jury is out at the moment Cap'n as Farjo has a couple of split header collar rings on his 3 year old 10,000 milers. I have had the motad pipes on two bikes and they have been fine.

Re: Delkevic Downpipes - DryRob - 03-12-11

I did abit of research on the net when I was looking for mine and out of three suppliers that kept coming up (sandybikespares, delkevic and motad) it was motad that seemed to have the best rep so I went with them. No complaints so far.

if you're looking for a cheap option I saw these the other day, they look stainless:

Thanks for the advice, I actually took a punt on them, will post feedback once i have them fitted.

They're fine. Had a set on two of my Fazers for tens of thousands of miles. Only thing is you will probably have to file just a little bit off your centrestand so that it goes back up fully when you push the bike off the stand. Easy enough though.

Re: Delkevic Downpipes - solorider - 05-12-11

a lot mof people on other forums have mentioned about the fit of delvic pipes compared to the motad pipes, most say the motad pipes fittede better,a few years a go i had a blackbird and i first fitted a set of motad downpipes and i found the fit not very good,i had to try and bend one of the downpipes slightly (one of the centre piped,so not bent due to transport) i had that system on for a month or 2 then i bought a set of delvic pipes,i found they fitted perfectly, the only issue which is a common fault on fully faired bikes is the delvic pipes can touch the fairing lowers

I recently fitted a set of sandy bike spares downpipes and they went on like a glove, was well impressed with them.
