side panel fairing brackets - mike26 - 29-11-11 does anyone know where i get buy the brackets or does anyone have thm for the mk1 side fairings mine snapped off can i buy them from somewhere? does anyone have some on here they wont to sell? or will i have to make my own ? cheers mike Re: side panel fairing brackets - limax2 - 29-11-11 Not sure which brackets you mean. If it's the small steel "Z" shaped brackets about 30mm long that attach the back of the fairing to the frame, then I think I might have a couple you can have. If it's for attaching the black inner panels then I think you are out of luck because they are part of the panel. In which case time for some plastic welding or some nifty bodging or maybe eBay. Re: side panel fairing brackets - mike26 - 29-11-11 its the part at the back of the fairings i took fairings of whilst i was doing something to my bike but never took the brackets of as the was behind the r n g crash bobbins however they appear to have vibrated and snapped of whilst i have been riding down the motorway :/ Re: side panel fairing brackets - limax2 - 30-11-11 When you say they are behind the crash bobbins I guess they are for additional full fairing type side panels. In that case I'm afraid can't help. |
