Thoughts Occuring - BIG MAC - 26-09-11
I cannot imagine how much work has gone into getting the site as good as it is ...Frazer if ever we meet you are due a pint or six....
If I just run through a few things which may be covered elsewhere then maybe it would be useful for reference..
- I do miss the old blue --it smacked of quality --maybe I will get to liking the pastel eventually.
- Photostorage link can we pull images from the old site or will there be an equivalent?
- The forum jump button...didn't realise how much I used it till it wasn't there
- Who's online on the top of the page...feels weird looking elsewhere...my only solace being I haven't seen VNA on the list yet :pokefun
- Uploading images I am having to cut'n'paste ...be good if I could simply browse for images in my own folders
- Facebook link...be good to have a link as there's many of us subscribe to both..I know Magnetic is playing with it at the mo and it's being a sod.

Thanks for the post.
1. When we changed to blue everyone complained :lol
2. Don't catch your drift. The menu item 'Media' is a gallery, but not sure what you mean about pulling images.
3. Look for "Jump to" - a bit odd but it is there.
4. We'll see what people think - the disadvantage is it pushes everything else down.
5. Yes we lose that feature
On the other hand we are able to post an image straight from our hard drives without having to upload it first

2 We have our old Fazermania?? galleries that we could when posting click on a button which would show us a preview and by clicking on --upload the image to the post...can we still do this?
3 I can's see 'Jump to' but if it was in the same list as forum etc then it would be easy to find?
In the scheme of things...minor issues ...

i miss the darker background as well - i know on some forums you can choose your own background ???? (maybe us older members find it earier to read on darker backgrounds ??

Under Profile/ Account Settings/ Modify Profile there's "Look and Layout Preferences" which lets you pick a display theme.
At the moment this is the only one available, but I'm sure new ones can be provided soon...

:agree this theme is just the default but there are plenty of others available and we will add more soon when people are more used to the new place. (You might remember that we had this facility on Yuku but had to remove it because it was making the board go really slowly).

Yes, I agree with The Mac on the color. Can we individually choose to customize it in appearance?
I liked the "Who is online" tag - I do miss this.
Where is the subscribe to thread button? I can't see it?

The Notify button subscribes you to a thread or a forum.
