just got me a thou - Curly - 25-09-11 hello chaps. i just recently traded my old fsz600 in for a gen1 54plate thou. Should it have rear bungee hooks like the 600? and if not how do you bungee stuff to the back seat ? The grab handles ? cheers Matt Re: just got me a thou - Falcon 269 - 25-09-11 Hi and welcome. ![]() Look at the rear footrests and you'll see they've got castings in them to accept bungee hooks. Mike Re: just got me a thou - chitsu - 25-09-11 And there should be one incorporated in the exhaust end can bolt too if it's still got the original one fitted. Re: just got me a thou - pilgrim - 26-09-11 I keep looking at those little plasic plug things under the tail piece and thinking......... maybe I can do something with them?? Stainless bolts or some such? Oh, first post in the Thou corner of the new place ![]() PS. Welcome. If you mean the press-in panel fixings, forget it. There's not sufficient strength in the plastics for them to take any kind of pressure or load. Re: just got me a thou - Curly - 26-09-11 cheers chaps .I had seen the pillion peg points. On the 600 i used the pillion pegs and two that flipped out near the number plate. Ah well all that extra bhp makes up for bungee points. i will have to come up with another solution for strapping my bag to the back seat. Matt Re: just got me a thou - dazedandconfused - 01-10-11 Get a Kriega tailpack. Comes with it's own straps and dead easy to take off to carry with you. ![]() |
