Yes I do know how to make a good cuppa first thing I learnt as an apprentice brickie. Re: Today's "What Gets My Goat" - steve 10562cc - 01-12-17 That was my point you have to use 2 now to get a half decent cuppa were as a few years ago 1 would do the trick. Re: Today's "What Gets My Goat" - fazersharp - 01-12-17 Asda hiding crap cuts of meat either behind labels or in this case under a nice looking piece that was on the top hiding a scag-end under it. 1st photo is the piece used to hide the crap one Re: Today's "What Gets My Goat" - YamFazFan - 01-12-17 (01-12-17, 11:49 AM)steve 10562cc link Wrote: Tea bags that are as weak as p*ss and taste less, and it doesn't seem to matter which brand you buy or how much you pay. Makes a perfect brew :thumbup Re: Today's "What Gets My Goat" - YamFazFan - 01-12-17 fazersharp....try a different supermarket :thumbup Re: Today's "What Gets My Goat" - Grayo - 01-12-17 (01-12-17, 11:49 AM)steve 10562cc link Wrote: Tea bags that are as weak as p*ss and taste less, and it doesn't seem to matter which brand you buy or how much you pay. Yes I do know how to make a good cuppa first thing I learnt as an apprentice brickie. We love strong tea in our house and only use Marks & Spencer Extra Strong Tea Bags. A bit more expensive than other tea bags at £5 for 240 but well worth the extra. We buy catering teabags from Costco that are described as 2 cup, I find they make one nice strong mug of tea, brand names such as Tetley and Typhoo. Re: Today's "What Gets My Goat" - tommyardin - 01-12-17 Tesco Original tea bags are the dogs bollocks, One in a mug and squish it a few time and squeeze the juice out of it, Lovely. What? Isn't that questionably legal? Re: Today's "What Gets My Goat" - celticbiker - 06-12-17 If that's just happened Mungus I'm really sorry to hear it, especially this close to Christmas. I always try to give at least a week's notice and try to give a heads up a week before that if I can and never during the holiday period. Re: Today's "What Gets My Goat" - Hugh Mungus - 06-12-17 It is legal because I've only been there for 18 months - I think the official term is "Laid off" but it amounts to the same thing. I'm being paid until the end of the week + my holiday entitlement. Yep, it's crap but it's a small family business and I think he's going to go down the pan altogether before too long. I liked the boss, he is also a biker, and I feel sad for both of us. He is facing a larger financial ruin than I am. |
