Passwords.
Have had an account set up with a well known retailer for years but not used for a while and went to buy something and NO I have to reset my password to something better so I enter a few more letters- not enough as I need some higher case letters, so I do that - no good as I still need some numbers, so I do that, great -now I have re enter it again to confirm and FOC me I have forgotten what I put in the first place so have to start over with a pen and paper at hand.
I know its for my own protection but there must be an easier way. I am going to have a chip implanted in my brain - it may even help with my everyday life.

The people who want these cameras solely so they can report other peoples misdemeanours, should automatically be not allowed to have one.

Someone posted a good one to my local paper about this.

They said that the dash cams are mostly used by people that drive everywhere limping along at half the speed limit and they have the device to film all those mad speeders overtaking them!?.

I can see they they would be very useful in an accident though to establish the facts.

We have a tomotherapy system here which has something like 20 different usernames and passwords! WTF! And those are just the official ones, let alone any user specific ones.

Grr! Tell me about it!

I have a way of generating passwords that *I* can remember and which are secure, but there are still too many websites stuck back in the 1990s with the "got to have upper case, lower case, number and special character" BS which is a PITA to recall and isn't as secure at all Sad

See correcthorsebatterystaple for more details...

People that think it's funny to creep up in order to surprise you. Especially when you're using power tools.

And Grumpy Eric at my local. The only person i know that is picking holes in Blue Planet 2.

Online news articles that tell you what was said in a twitter feed then put a picture of said twitter feed underneath.

Just like lectures and training instructors reading what they put on the Overhead Projector. FFS I can read it myself. Just explain/expand  whats written on it

Re: Today's "What Gets My Goat" - crickleymal - 01-11-17

And that too. I've sat through quite a few of those sort of lectures.

I've slept through more than a few training sessions like that, and teaching your grandmother to suck eggs springs to mind.

Reading online reviews of new bikes like the MT10 and Z900, and in the comments below the article someone ALWAYS puts "it looks like a Transformer!"
That's the whole idea you fucking idiot! They wouldn't get to live peacefully among us if they disguised themselves as penny farthings now, would they?

Re: Today's "What Gets My Goat" - Fazerider - 02-11-17

Saw a car yesterday which was slightly wondering about in the road, then noticed a toothbrush in the drivers hand as he made a turn.
Can you really be that late to not do that at home before you leave?  :rolleyes

There is a guy at my work who I avoid going anywhere near, when on morning shift he will arrive at work unwashed, clothes looking like he slept in them and in the locker room spray himself with deoderant over the top of his clothes, some people are just dirty lazy twats.

Re: Today's "What Gets My Goat" - unfazed - 03-11-17

Worse when they smell like that when they are working in a food store or restaurant  :thumbdown

When you loose your wallet!*!
It's not the little amount of cash that's in it, it's the hassle of phoning up the banks to get everything sorted out ffs!

I did that a number of years ago. Found my wallet the next day. Had to wait 3 days for all the new cards to arrive as I had cancelled the one's in my wallet. What a pain it is not to have access to cash for a few days.
