Every time I go through the ones on the M25 everyone else is tearing through at least 20 MPH faster. Do they all know something I don't? :rolleyes [/quote] Take it from me there are. Re: Today's "What Gets My Goat" - nick crisp - 28-07-17 When one front brake pad is near the limit, and the rest still have a bit of mileage in them. All have worn evenly too. More expense :rolleyes Re: Today's "What Gets My Goat" - nick crisp - 28-07-17 (28-07-17, 04:46 PM)YamFazFan link Wrote: Are there actually any speed cameras in these motorway variable limit gantry's?. Some, and yes, they know something you don't (apparently). They have camera warnings enabled on their sat navs. Although I don't trust this to be foolproof. Leaning to the left it does make sense, unless you are the Sharpster. Re: Today's "What Gets My Goat" - darrsi - 29-07-17 Riding home tonight, and went past a little scrotebag parked up sitting on a scooter, hiding behind a car with no visible lid but wearing a balaclava with only eyes and nose cut outs AND wearing a hoodie. These pricks need shooting. Re: Today's "What Gets My Goat" - BBROWN1664 - 30-07-17 (28-07-17, 06:22 PM)mr self destruct link Wrote: Take it from me there are. I used to work with a guy who set up the original cameras. But at that time, if you kept your bike on the white lines between the lanes, the cameras would never be activated. Film was too expensive to process and they didn't want two camera zones overlapping and getting twice as many pictures of the cars as they needed so there was actually an intentional blind spot between each of the lanes. Of course, with the cameras all being digital now, that may have changed. Re: Today's "What Gets My Goat" - midden - 01-08-17 Asda have installed cameras on the self service checkouts with the monitor at the right position for me to be staring at myself. I'll be interested to see the staff reaction when I start hanging a cap on it Re: Today's "What Gets My Goat" - nick crisp - 01-08-17 (01-08-17, 05:16 PM)midden link Wrote: Asda have installed cameras on the self service checkouts with the monitor at the right position for me to be staring at myself. Sue them for the distress caused? :rollin Re: Today's "What Gets My Goat" - fazersharp - 12-08-17 Whilst on the supermarket subject --- check out people who cough or sneeze into their hands and then handle your food with that hand Re: Today's "What Gets My Goat" - Edmund - 13-08-17 Snot good Re: Today's "What Gets My Goat" - Dudeofrude - 13-08-17 Or at the pizza deli counter where they make your custom pizza. They wear gloves but then never take off or change them between customers......yum Re: Today's "What Gets My Goat" - fazersharp - 14-08-17 People who add a "Make and offer" button on their ebay listing and then wont take any offer until its 20p off the asking price.
