Do you have those days when you regret doing anything?
Over the last few weeks I've painted my wheels and discovered the front wheel bearings were foc'd. All replaced.Took off the swinging arm to check all the bearings and regreased  them prior to the winter, all ok.Plus I fitted a ShockTube to the rear shock. I Changed the rear brake line to Goodridge, what a Bastid to bleed, regretted doing that as the old one was perfect, only did it as I'd already done the fronts. It took ages to sort but all done now. And today I decided to change the oil and filter. I always buy a K + N because of the nut on the front to ease removal. This promptly rounded off and I had to resort to ramming a screw driver though the filter, it still would not turn bending my screw driver. I always use a torque wrench so Gawd knows how it got so tight, luckily my neighbour had a grip wrench and that did the job. Working nights tonight so thought I might have had to sit in traffic with the lemmings but now it's all sorted I'm a happy bunny.

bought oil, oil filter, filter chain wrench and what an absolute waste of £4+ that was.
Ended up using the classic screwdriver punched through filter method.

Explored some more Cotswolds roads today, found some nice ones. Windy on top of the hills tho. And actually had it almost flat out in top today too - I'm not telling you where (think I took a wrong turn and wound up on a German autobahn - or was it my mates private drag strip?  Wink  :lol ) Not something I plan on doing often!

So, with a full ivanised kit, on your mate's drag strip - what did you do?  Smile

Well, I pointed it up this long, straight bit of tarmac, tucked down a bit, whacked up the gears and held the throttle wide open........ :lol

If you'd had Puncturesafe/seal/whatever it's called in the tyres, you'd have been fine.

Do I have it in mine? No, forgot...... :\  :lol

Had a cracking local ride with some friends, my fzs600, a heavily modified Z750 called Alice, a modified Sachs 125 and a bandit :-) chips and a shandy and home again! Happy days

Picked up the noggyfighter...complete with Cristo's now shiny downpipes...& correctly flashing indicators...& new front mudguard
still a couple finishing touches to do during the winter & next year i'll look at getting a decent looking fairing on.
Downpipes are really nice, i cant notice any difference in performance, thought they'd just look nice which they do but im surprised at the nice raspy growl they produce. Smile

I reckon a little clean & a couple bits of paint and it's ready for a new piccie :photo

fairing wise i'd love to bastardise a fazer fairing to somehow slot it over the little single headlight and cut off  the ears a little bit so i can still have handlebar mirrors & maybe cut out the join between the 2 headlight holes.. i mean i could just go original but i refuse to pay money for another headlight unit for the fazer which is universally known as being shite.& the main thing is that i want to keep the front bracket for the clocks to mount to.

decisions decisions!!!
