1, Covered the swing arm with carbon fiber. Took only a few minutes not counting the cleaning before Smile
2, Looking to close detected quite a few screws and washers which need to be replaced.
3, Realized that even she’s getting maintained regularly, my mechanic doesn’t seem to care about the little things Smile
4, Noticed that the main stand needs to be painted asap!!!
5, Scheduled a proper shower for her tomorrow realising how dirty she’s got during our little trip through the hills yesterday

Nice job there Amy but as you say "mechanic" doesn't care, so it's all down to you to maintain it to your standards Smile

We've got the best roads here :b but unfortunately the worst weather at times Sad So you might have to do more maintenance than those soft southerners :rollin

Adjusted the TPS on my 98 boxeye, finally. I started the job last week but chewed up the torq screws despite me using the correct bit. Couldn't get the barstewards to shift!

Had to resort to chopping the heads off with a 22mm cutting disc on my Multitool. Fitted 2 allen head bolts which should ensure they come off easy next time. Smile

So about 6 months I bought my fazer 600 1998 for just £800 (sold my 125 for the same amount ) I habe not stopped loving it since. Spent a little here and there on her to make sure she runs and stops fine. So over the last few weeks I thought it was time to give her a little face lift.  I hope you all like the results. Still a few bits to do over the winter I will update this post every now and then.
Enjoy

*changed front sprocket nut to upgrade (Yamaha kit and only 2.44 sQuid) -made my own gasket as the asking price form Yamaha was just silly, especially that one can do without. Next time I'll just use sealant. Oh took forever to clean cover...

* adjust headlight beam as with the way it was set I was becoming less and less popular : )

*put a baffle in my Black Widow

* had 3-day 'go' at back brake bleeding... GOD.. still not what I want... Hope it passes MOT. I will have to go back to that...

Well I just went to work on mine this morning at 6.15. Nothing exciting except that on the way home some fighter pilot on a Kwacker 600 Zx6 tried to embarrass the old girl but she made him look a little silly because he lacked the required gonads to use his extra bhp lol. Love those weekend warriors bless em  :lol

Took it for a little blast through the Brecon Beacons

Re: What have you done to your FZS600 bike today - Val - 23-10-15

Finally changed my levers with Chinese that looks cool and no more trapping my fingers with the brake lever  :lol

The best £16 ever spend  Smile bought them from here:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NGB-Gold-brake-clutch-levers-For-YAMAHA-FZS600-FAZER-1998-2003-/321561894602?hash=item4ade951eca:g:GlcAAOSwF1dUSmHW

Silver ones are not listed, but you buy any colour and need to ask the guy to send you silver ones.

It was ages to receive them and after a month waiting I have asked him what is hapenning, he replied promptly that can refund me immediately and the levers arrived the same day. I replied back that all is fine LOL

I have to say its worth the wait. The quality is perfect.
