The stock on my bike is the comfiest / least worn or ropey of any other Fazer 600 I've seen. Previous owner was a girl, must have been a slip of a thing, the seat felt barely used when I got on the bike. £30. Hold in the working piston with molegrips (and bits of wood to protect the metal, obviously), screw the greasegun end onto the bleed nipple and pump. The calliper will fill with grease, and the piston should slide out, easy as you please. Why would you subject your caliper internals to grease, you'll never get all of the bloody stuff back out. If you don't have access to compressed air, then use the brake fluid! Clamp one side using a G-clamp with some cardboard to protect the metal surfaces and just pump out the other side. Tidy it up, replace everything and repeat - just need some extra brake fluid and bleeding brakes really isn't a difficult job Re: Breaking FZS600 for spares - noggythenog - 16-09-13 (16-09-13, 09:51 PM)ChristoT link Wrote: [quote author=noggythenog link=topic=9823.msg101801#msg101801 date=1379363371] How cheap's what?
