Pointless conference calls where people ramble on for 2 hours about something nobody really gives a fec about. Hyundai main dealers who cant get hold of a flexi-brake pipe for a recent model car for nearly two weeks. Kids on school holidays. Illegal immigrants causing travel chaos. Unemployed French ferry workers causing travel chaos. Re: Today's "What Gets My Goat" - Andy FZS - 24-07-15 People who moan. People who say "Nucular" TV adverts Right turners who stay in the left lane instead of using the right turn section clearly marked in the centre. Mobile phone users, especially those driving. Roundabout straightliners and right turn signallers who then turn left. (There is no right turn off a roundabout) Call centres who leave you on hold at premium rates............. HMIT please note. Yoof. Yapping dogs. Picky eaters. and finally...................all of the above when I am off to spend my pension in the supermarket on a Saturday. Re: Today's "What Gets My Goat" - BBROWN1664 - 25-07-15 Quote:Folk dragging caravans in rush hour traffic and getting defensive when people indicate to pull out in front of them... Having towed a caravan in rush hour myself I can sort of sympathise. If you tow properly you don't hold traffic up at all (except you can only do 50mph on a 60mph single carriage way road) but you do tend to want to keep rolling and as such don't want brake suddenly which some muppets (indicating or not) make you do when they think there is a gap big enough for their car to fit into in front of yours. What they don't think about is the fact that the car they are cutting in front of was using that space to stop in already so by you pulling out into the gap has caused me to brake suddenly. I dont like towing the caravan and I try not to tow it in rush hour traffic. To help me avoid doing it, I don't even keep it in this country anymore. Re: Today's "What Gets My Goat" - Val - 25-07-15 The cyclist I met few days ago here on the A322 dual carriageway texting with one hand on his smartphone whilst wobbling around with the other hand on the bars. WTF dude?? :wall Re: Today's "What Gets My Goat" - griff86 - 25-07-15 Zebra crossings. People who open their car door all the way, sit down with the door wide open then close it, fucking lumps.
