Re: WANTED, NOW FOUND - FZS1000 - Tmation - 13-04-14 I have a Puig DB with an X-Screen attached, makes 100mph cruising on AutoBahn bearable with blade fully up and fully down its fine in the twisties. It works better than the MRA Vario I had previously as DB is a bit taller than standard screen. ![]() ![]() Re: WANTED, NOW FOUND - FZS1000 - unfazed - 13-04-14 As standard they are a bit lazy dropping into the bends and inclined to understeer. Stanchions 10 mm up through the yolks as Andy FZS says and a 10mm rise at the rear gives it the flickability of the Fazer 600. ![]() Upgrade the fork springs as the standard ones are far to soft, even when they are wound in full. Progressive fork spring and the 2012-2013 S1000RR rear shock (gave the 10mm rise at the rear) fitted has totally transformed my bike. ![]() Re: WANTED, NOW FOUND - FZS1000 - nick crisp - 13-04-14 Well done Mick! Real pleased for you, wee smells great don't it :lol Looks a beaut, look after it (try not to burn my retinas out with piccies of polished-to-the-nth-degreeness :eek 8) Re: WANTED, NOW FOUND - FZS1000 - mickvp - 13-04-14 ha! no primises mate. no polishing today though - rain stopped play. long weekend this weekend though, so plenty of time to both ride and clean as long as its nice - happy days! you get used to the urine smell quickly ive found :lol Re: WANTED, NOW FOUND - FZS1000 - nickodemon - 13-04-14 Mine has the r6 shock and forks raised through the yokes 10mm. I suggested the 25mm jack up kit, as your bike has a standard shock, but you could just raise the forks through the yokes, which will lower the bike a bit for you. ![]() Re: WANTED, NOW FOUND - FZS1000 - bigbluebear - 14-04-14 Good one Mick....maybe we can get a Scottish Foccers trip out soon....no poxy 600's aloud :lol Re: WANTED, NOW FOUND - FZS1000 - unfazed - 14-04-14 If the 600 owners turn up especially with red ones just ask them nicely to slow down and wait for you. :rollin Most of them will happily oblige :lol Re: WANTED, NOW FOUND - FZS1000 - mickvp - 14-04-14 Sounds good BBB. I ordered a new exhaust for it today too, loverly bit of titanium goodness ![]() Re: WANTED, NOW FOUND - FZS1000 - nickodemon - 14-04-14 What make of can did you go for? I just had to change the standard one as it was all scratched up - so its two birds with one stone ![]() |
