I Wil have to Google that road , the Guzzi is perfect for short trips and twisty roads , but due to the racing position a pain in my old neck after about an hour , it is also very vibey through the bars , so again I tend to stop every hour , but I could invest in a trailer and then I could take it to these great roads .

We followed one from Baden-Baden on the B500 a couple of years back. The old? rider was clad in black, oldstyle leathers. He didn't hang about & the bike handled beautifully. I don't know what model it was but it was fun to follow on such a great road.

B500 from Baden Baden to Freudenstadt must be one of the very best stretches of asphalt anywhere in the world - and a perfect road for the Guzzi, with plenty of fast smooth sweeping bends !

It isn't that much louder than the huge standard can. Aprilia fitted an exhaust valve purely for noise regs. it remains closed until 6000 rpm to pass the noise tests. (God only knows how they got away with that one!). I disconnected mine because it caused hunting on a steady throttle.. It's the best sounding bike i've ever owned... 8)

It certainly was !
We just did the 150 mile C2C ride from Whitehaven to Sunderland two weekends ago, so it was great this time to not have any real hills

Explored some new Byways today taking me all the way over the North Downs in between Ashford and Maidstone. It's amazing how far you can get without hitting a main road, beautiful countryside and views and a dirtbikes playground.

Long time no speaky Foccers - this has been keeping me busy recently. ZX9r 2004.
Very clean but new bikes always require a bit of work, was working on it over the weekend hence it's semi naked state :b

Think we've crossed paths on the other forum :-) Great bikes aren't they, not as practical as Fazers but not far off if you can find luggage for them...

three weeks without a proper ride :lol ,managed to get out for a few hours around co kerry on a vstrom im "minding" for a friend ,the wrist is healing well cant wait to have the fazer bk on the road though,missing the power badly

I had a vstrom thou for a short while. Didn't like it at all. Brakes were pretty poor/ handling wasn't great, but the worst thing was the on / off throttle at slow speeds. Tiring to go round a roundabout and having to feather the throttle ain't my kind of fun!. I heard later that mine was the early model, which was prone to snatchy throttle :\ I owned a 650 vstrom for longer and it was a great bike in comparison to the thou..
