I have been out rideing 350 km the last 3 days. The roads are a little slippy and lots of mud and stones on the small roads from the farmers. But the Metzler seems never to give up. When i hit a stone i a turn and the tyre hops, it stops hopping right away, and the turn continues without any drama. Because of the profile, the bike "falls" into turns/corners and i have to use more speed / power to get the bike back up, than i am used to with other tyres. It is a tyre u can use on a track day too. I have used my M7RR for 8.000 km and i think there is another 8.000 km left. It is a wonderfull tyre on the twisties. ![]() Re: Tyres? - JoeyMcEssex - 25-03-17 Ben Congrats on the tyre choice the PR3/4 combo is working brilliantly for me. As a 60 odd yr old biker returning after 15 years I thought all I would need are flat Harley style tyres lol. But the confidence the Michelin's give me, makes me think that if it wasn't for the crash bars on my Fazer I could possibly get rid of the 15mm chicken strip on the rear? :rollin |
