Re: WANTED, FZS1000 - slimwilly - 09-05-15 If you succeed in buying a new bike then make sure you keep the old one as a winter bike,,local runs,,don't want salt on it,,or wet local rides adding up the mileage,,,cant rewind the clock can u...can u? I was hoping not to have to, as it means having a lot of work done twice, more money ![]() It will be a cheap, plain paint job. Go find yourself another bike to covet Frosties :'( Re: WANTED, FZS1000 - nick crisp - 09-05-15 (09-05-15, 02:45 PM)slimwilly link Wrote: Don't know where this is,, but its the lowest mileage you will find,,mint condition Red 2005 Might as well be on feckin Mars :rolleyes Re: WANTED, FZS1000 - mickvp - 09-05-15 (09-05-15, 12:02 PM)nick crisp link Wrote:
Their best cash price is £3000. I've lost interest :rolleyes
aye thats a shit effort on their part. I bought mine (same colour, 54 plate), with only 9k miles from preston superbike last year for much less than that. Granted, it didnt have the steering damper etc, but I would be binning that off anyway! Also dont disount Ireland coz ive always fancied a trip across & im sure the other helpful foccers like Unfazed would help out too & between us all we could get you the right bike if the circumstances are right.........im about half an hour away from the Irish ferry departure point & can be in Rosslare by an afternoon......ok granted id be a foot passenger then & need transport or either that could meet someone there.......anyway jus sayin its an option coz the harder it gets then the more other folk "wont" be snapping up that bike. Re: WANTED, FZS1000 - nick crisp - 09-05-15 The current bike will be going back on the road as cheap as possible. Match the bodywork that Luke has so kindly got hold of for it, then get it to MOT standard (due now). Then get well properly. Then we'll see. Unless the right bike comes up soon, that is not going to be a pain to buy/collect/go look at. Noggy, I can't ask you to do that, proper helpful Foccer though :thumbup Re: WANTED, FZS1000 - slimwilly - 09-05-15 If you gave Noggy the cash and he went to Ireland and bought it....yeh,,would he push it back here ? :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol Re: WANTED, FZS1000 - noggythenog - 09-05-15 (09-05-15, 07:58 PM)slimwilly link Wrote: If you gave Noggy the cash and he went to Ireland and bought it....yeh,,would he push it back here ? :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol I would be so outta my nut i think id just fly the fazer home :b Re: WANTED, FZS1000 - caretaker - 09-05-15 bit late nick, but i found you one ![]() Re: WANTED, FZS1000 - unfazed - 09-05-15 This one is near enough to you and exactly what you want except for the silly screen. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201504202754938/sort/default/usedbikes/make/yamaha/model/fzs1000/cc-to/1000cc/maximum-mileage/up_to_15000_miles/cc-from/1000cc/channel/bikes/radius/1500/page/1/postcode/np79re?logcode=p Re: WANTED, FZS1000 - mickvp - 09-05-15 ^^^ too many miles for Nick I bet ![]() Re: WANTED, FZS1000 - sinto607276 - 09-05-15 (09-05-15, 09:50 PM)mickvp link Wrote: ^^^ too many miles for Nick I betYeah, by about 4,378 :rolleyes |
