Cheers for the bump BBB. there has GOT to be that 1 more person out there. else Ill be doing this myself to my bike over winter I think :'( Re: McIvanising (Scotland Ivanising) - downey - 27-07-14 wheres this taking place and whats required for the bike to be suitable for either of these two mods Re: McIvanising (Scotland Ivanising) - mickvp - 27-07-14 (27-07-14, 10:52 PM)downey link Wrote: wheres this taking place and whats required for the bike to be suitable for either of these two mods I dont think a definate location has been set as of yet (but will likely be somewhere within about 30 miles of Glasgow). Mike will be able to confirm this, but as far as Im aware, the requirements are as follows: Slip-On - No Previous modifications required. Full Monty - Free flowing (aftermarket) exhaust required, aftermarket air filter also (the air filter is supplied as part of installation price though). I think thats right, but as I say, Mike can confirm when he sees this Re: McIvanising (Scotland Ivanising) - downey - 27-07-14 cheers for the reply bud , would be coming from cork in ireland so it be a bit of a trek to say the least , but will be giving it some serious thought , what benifits from either are to be expected Re: McIvanising (Scotland Ivanising) - downey - 27-07-14 wat was the price again ? Re: McIvanising (Scotland Ivanising) - mickvp - 28-07-14 Hi Downey, Best bet is to PM mike (falcon269), look back in this thread and you will see him posting, he can give you the prices and also give you all the details on the benefits (he even has a link to some Dyno results etc.) I think the full monty kit gives upto about 140-145BHP at the rear wheel depending on how good the standard engine is to begin with. Suffice to say, if you search this forum, I don't honestly think I have ever read a single person say it's not worth every penny. Re: McIvanising (Scotland Ivanising) - Falcon 269 - 28-07-14 Rear wheel horsepower for the Full Monty is around 136 - 138bhp on a good motor. In addition to the extra horsepower (stock is typically 122 - 123bhp), either kit provides smoother, stronger power delivery throughout the rev range. As suggested above, e-mail me for more information. Mike Mike Re: McIvanising (Scotland Ivanising) - downey - 28-07-14 Cheers mickvp will do ,an falcon269 that sounds like the extra oomph I'm looking for !
