Are the forks the same length as originals?
If they're longer this will make the bike feel heavy, dropping the forks through the yokes 5mm at a time then test ride could help.
Tyre pressure (mainly rear) can also make the bike feel heavy.
Other option is to raise the rear with a pair of dog bones!

this looks interesting since im fed up of non adjustable suspension on mine....

also, what tail unit do you have ?
