That's a diy job mate, I had some 5mm aluminium plate lying around, cut the holes with hole saws... Believe it or not I polished it first to a mirror shine but it looked odd on the bike so I roughed it back up and painted it :rolleyes Re: Show me your fazer! - dcurzon - 10-12-13 'scuse the shabby photo Re: Show me your fazer! - Samaha - 12-12-13 (09-12-13, 09:10 PM)wezdavo link Wrote:
Straight forward mate, you will need some indicator blanking plates too... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bike-It-Arrow-Indicators-In-Black-With-Clear-Lens-Pair-/141053850466?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item20d776f362 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Yamaha-FZS600-Fazer-1998-2003-Indicator-Spacers-Set-of-4-8166406-/140876523679?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts_13&hash=item20cce5289f
Superb, thanks mate ![]() Re: Show me your fazer! - andy352299 - 12-12-13 (09-12-13, 09:14 PM)wezdavo link Wrote:
That's a diy job mate, I had some 5mm aluminium plate lying around, cut the holes with hole saws... Re: Show me your fazer! - Offtheclockuk - 11-01-14 Quite happy doing it, just not happy doing it weekly! Can't wait till the better weather, at least I'll get a month out of a good clean then :-) Seriously considering slowly dismantling it bit by bit each day off I get then deep cleaning the components before refitting with stainless fixings, serious dough involved in posh bolts though ![]() ![]() Re: Show me your fazer! - nick crisp - 11-01-14 I've personally come to the conclusion that mine's never going to be that clean again, despite not using it much during the winter. But if I can keep it at a level where it looks good before close inspection, and corrosion is kept at bay, I guess I'm happy enough with that. Wouldn't want to have to remove the header pipes right now though! :lol Re: Show me your fazer! - Offtheclockuk - 11-01-14 Yeah, I've got to make a serious commitment to keep it really clean, but I don't want it to turn into a sunny weekend queen, it's a daily rider and like you if I can just stay on top of it I'll be really happy. Chrome or stainless headers would be a bonus though! Re: Show me your fazer! - Doddsie - 12-01-14 (11-01-14, 06:49 PM)Offtheclockuk link Wrote: Quite happy doing it, just not happy doing it weekly! Hmmm, only let down by the unpolished jubilee clips on the radiator pipe!!! ![]() Re: Show me your fazer! - Offtheclockuk - 12-01-14 Bah! And just noticed that the two hose clips on the small diameter hose from the bottom of the radiator aren't level with each other, will have to sort that ;-) Re: Show me your fazer! - Paul Kent - 20-01-14 I bit the bullet and bought this one today.
