My iPad decided "early" was really meant to be "army" in my post above, but I can't see how to amend it - I may just be stupid as well as old !

Took my baby for a ride to a SciFi charity event that I was costuming at and also let a wookie pose for a photo on it  :lol

It's a male and a member of our charity group the MKG (Milton Keynes Garrison) and he left quite a few 12 inch long curly hairs on my saddle :rollin :lol :rollin

Could never really get into Star Trek so I call it my speeder bike  Big Grin  could do with some photos of me riding through a forest  8)

Tried to swap 2003 clocks for my 1998 ones, didn't happen as the wiring is different. Yes, I have the wiring harnesses for both and thought it was a straight swap but the connections in the black box under the tank is different, so I'll need to rethink Sad
Also fitted a digigear (thanks Anutz) but again didn't work due to programming but I'll try to do that tomorrow on way to work as apposed to on the centre stand Sad
I will however need to rewire it again when I manage to work out how to swap the clocks!
Ahh the joys of tinkering :lol

Just returned from a week in France with the lads, some great roads, the Fazer never missed a beat. Roll on next year.

I always feel like it's going to fail, considering the state it was in when I bought it. I'm always thinking I might have missed something that is still attached, that is in the same state as some of the parts I've changed, and its still there waiting to fall apart. I still use it for long trips tho, you've gotta have faith haven't you.

Turned the Renthal bars upside down for a more racy riding position,more like my Fireblade that I am now used to, fitted a R6 throttle tube for fast action throttle.
Removed large mirrors, now fitting one small removable one because I want to keep this on the road.

Fitted a cut down screen.

Tonight I went for a shakedown spin,,soon got the feel of it, it felt good, got to the edges of the tyres quite easy, did about 90m miles on some nice quiet A roads, quite pleased how it felt.

Will be planning to do some track days when we get back from Austria mid August,not taking the Fazer to Austria,no thats for the Fireblade.

Government is not broken, its focced, the whole lot of them and their toadying supporters from all political sides of the fence need scrapping off and recycling into cat food.
