I've been thinking about swapping my RSV for a Tuono 1100 Factory, but seeing BBB's Fazer makes me thing we need 3 Fazers in the family (and I should keep the RSV).

Not sure what Liz would think though, she's always telling me we need less bikes, rather than more - and she's right really as most of them rarely get used, because the Fazers are such brilliant all-round bikes and BBB's looks awesome.

I've got the 1000 tuono v4 and it's awesome. Smile

This could be worse that Noggy the Nogster new bike quest!!!!!

You need another 10 pages :lol

seriously though a triple seems like the best compromise..............the thou was a bit too much than I needed....too much weight, didn't need the crazy top end yet paid the price with weight, my twin has character and is cool but at times with overtakes it isn't quite enough..................Triples then would seem perfect although ive yet to try one

if you don't like Triumph Speed Triples then there is of course the Tracer as has been mentioned.....seems the natural way to go...high up, fairing, quick without being heavy...............but after such a bling gen 1 youd need to factor in a suspension upgrade for the Tracer straight away.

The Tracer is too adventure style for my liking....all my mates have Fireblades, S1000RR, ZZR14's and a very nice but tiny Panigale....so I need to keep up when the red mist and red line gauntlet gets thrown down.....my old Fazer does okay with the Ivans kit and the 15 tooth front sprocket but its the oldest and I want something a bit more modern while the wife approves the spend.....before she spends it on stupid Xmas pish.

What about a zx10???............you could probably even get a flat bar conversion......not as bloody mahoosive as the zzr....but they look reasonably roomy?

Too vibey and compact for my size.....I nearly bought a ZX12r a few years ago that had the flat bar conversion...so I could go for a ZZR14 or a Busa and do the same conversion.....but they are not as flickable

How abot the bmw r1200rs? Thinking outside the box...and it might be the sort of bike you are looking for..

Re: For Sale 2004 FZS1000 Gen 1 - Immaculate Condition - bigbluebear - 17-11-15

Might just hold off for the new MT10 now....looks amazing....hope it lives up to its aggressive looks.

Seems to me you don't need to sell it but just renew your love for it again, then appreciate it for what it is again. Age is just a number and new technology comes with some major flaws ....

Re: For Sale 2004 FZS1000 Gen 1 - Immaculate Condition - bigbluebear - 23-11-15

Looks like I'm buying privately and have a couple of bikes lined up......meaning my FZS1000 bike is now back available for sale......£3,250 would do it and that is a real foccin bargain for what it is.

Re: For Sale 2004 FZS1000 Gen 1 - Immaculate Condition - b1k3rdude - 23-11-15

Its gotta be the time of the year, as that should have sold by now.

Re: For Sale 2004 FZS1000 Gen 1 - Immaculate Condition - bigbluebear - 26-11-15

Looks like I'm going down the Z1000sx route on a private sale. No rush to sell mine and may have to wait until the spring......or even keep it.

Re: For Sale 2004 FZS1000 Gen 1 - Immaculate Condition - nickodemon - 27-11-15

The z1000sx is a good looking bike in the green/black, but it will be down on power compared to your ivanised fazer... Test ride it thoroughly before handing over any cash.

Re: For Sale 2004 FZS1000 Gen 1 - Immaculate Condition - bigbluebear - 27-11-15

It is the green and black one and far too good a price to ignore.....I know it will be down on power a bit but there are modifications can than increase it....Ivans ECU Flash and Power Commander.....can get an extra 26HP or 11hp with slip on......new project to fuck about with

Re: For Sale 2004 FZS1000 Gen 1 - Immaculate Condition - nickodemon - 28-11-15

A pity they don't do it in a nice blue to match your team Wink ,  :lol but kawa's do look great in green. All the best with your new bike. The z1000sx does look far more modern than the fazer. What year and model is it?

Re: For Sale 2004 FZS1000 Gen 1 - Immaculate Condition - bigbluebear - 28-11-15

It's the new 2016 model, pick it up in a couple of weeks.
