Steve
I just read that the police have recently prosecuted the first person for middle lane hogging ever (white van man surprise surprise).

I've very nearly had a pile up today on the way home when coming down a country road (60mph) and finding two Lycra clad imbeciles in the middle of the road as I've gone round a bend  :eek
And I'm not talking the middle of their lane, one of them was dawdling along by the central white line turning round and chatting to his mate.....f@&king retard!!!
at least they were on the road.    riding out toward the middle around country lanes is sensible makes you more visible. I tend to do it on either bicycle  or the fazer.  Unlike the probable tard I keep ears and eyes open and move toward the side to allow vehicles to pass when safe. Beats cars racing passed so close they want to force you in the hedges  Smile

So he was charged *two years* ago and only now has he been convicted.

Ok, the fine and, more importantly, the five points are good, but probably by now most drivers will have forgotten all about this law (especially given the number of Middle-Lane Larrys I've seen out there), so it's hardly going to be much of a deterrent Sad

jeans says 40" but more like 38",42" to foccing big.

I just cheat. I still buy the same waist size, but stretch jeans, or cargo trousers with an elasticated waist band  :lol

Pensioners & people that don't work in the supermarket at weekends!!
you have all week to do yourshopping when we are at work so why clog up the roads & shops at weekends?

CORMAC!! ( for those that don't know they are the Cornish council workers CORMAC stands for Cant Organise Road Maintenance Around Cornwall)
oh yeah we wait until May to start any major road project that is going to last 6 months so we block up both main roads in & out of the country at the same time at the busiest time of the year!! we will cone off dual carriageways for miles and only do work on 200 yards a week!! the rest is coned off ..... for safety...fucking hell that length of road you could land 3 jumbo's on if it weren't fecking coned off!!!!

and breath.....

What really annoys me is people, particularly young people whom insist on using the word 'like' all the time as a conversation filler . . . "you know what I mean like", " I was like all . . . " drives me nuts. What's worse is that upwards inflection at the end of every sentence that makes everything seem as if it's a question!?! It's this I'm referring to

It's all just wrong, and plain annoying

At work in the film industry, the word that bugs the hell out of me is "amazing".

Was sitting upstairs minding my own business having lunch and there were a production team sitting next to me.

"How are your Cheese & Chive crisps?"
"Oh they're amazing!"
"Really? The same as my watercress and celery seeded baguette, it's amazing too."
"What about your beetroot and plum smoothie?"
"Oh it's truly amaz......"

"OH FUCK OFF!"  :wall

yeah supermarkets are open 24/7 but when I work away from home only time I get to do a food shop for the family is at a weekend. even on a Friday evening I'll go at 8-830 after I've spent time with my boys at rugby training and yes they are in Asda trying to decide which aisle to clog up and then they bump into Eric from across the road & have a natter in the narrowest part of the shop... they got cafe's for nattering in!!
:lol

Some cnut walking around London with an IS flag draped over his shoulder and a kid sat on his shoulders waving a small IS flag just over a week after 30 British people were murdered on a beach in Tunisia by IS. The police said they can't do anything about it because he hasn't done wrong FFS.
