A automated highway system that would self-operate, provide the power for vehicles on its grid, and not have any accidents. Imagine the highways in "I, Robot" without the going vertical bits, and without the psychotic lorries!

Yeah right, and imagine a world without bikes  :rolleyes

Oh yeah, you don't have to  :rollin

OH harsh…

To be honest the last one is kinda done already with the VFR800 - high revs has 4 valves going, low revs is just two (per pot)

Flash charging capacitor type battery powered cars. With one charge the car can push you along for another 4-5 kilometers. There should be flash charging pads on roads every few hundred meters, and as you ride over (or near by it), the battery takes the charge in a fraction of a second and off we go into future. A back up battery will give a 10 km range 'limp mode' to cover the last time / private estates etc.

On way home tonight there was a fella on 'L' plates on a new looking 125cc bike and the bastard decides to ride in the traffic with his front wheel level with my rear wheel on my inside.
I was not impressed.

[/quote] Different concept ...it remains an 800 with 800cc thirst I am saying that unless needed the same bike would be a 400 until the loud button is hit

When a neh - nar  neh -nar comes along it plays through your car speakers and the speaker from which direction it is coming from
