Re: Lofo/Middle Earth ride Sun 2nd March - chris.biker - 24-02-14

I have picked some nice twisty roads so if it Horrendous weather it will be a poor ride out, so should we do a roll call on Friday and see if it is still on?

Hope fully this works and shows the route I had in mind.

Looks very similar to the "Rutland TT" in Bikers' Britain tour book. Apparently there's a good diner just off the route at Great Casterton - "finest burgers and milkshakes in Britain". Mmmmm  Smile

With all the stops you lot plan for mc donalds- pork pie- cafe-milkshakes, its gonna take a focin week to get round

And that's simply because of the amount of additional weight the poor bikes are going to have to carry  :lol :evil

Re: Lofo/Middle Earth ride Sun 2nd March - midden - 28-02-14

The day could be historical. For on this day the middle earth people rode with the lofo's to create the FAT FOCCERS

Re: Lofo/Middle Earth ride Sun 2nd March - Red Ceri - 28-02-14

Right can we stop talking about food you're making me hungry,

some questions about Sunday what time do we plan to meet at jct 20 of the M1 and is there going to be a mass LoFo ride up and where are we meeting?????

I'd rather have some non-motorway time rather than all M25/M1.

Re: Lofo/Middle Earth ride Sun 2nd March - midden - 28-02-14

Have you plotted an Essex route?  There is always the A5 up the left of m1

Re: Lofo/Middle Earth ride Sun 2nd March - kitcrazy - 28-02-14

hows about the a413 and a5?

Re: Lofo/Middle Earth ride Sun 2nd March - dazza - 28-02-14

Good call Red Ceri, I will be looking to hook up with Lofo's south of the river. Shall we meet at Blackheath again then hook up with the others ? If so, what time at Blackheath and who's gonna  be there ?
