The 600s corner bloody well, and their top end isn't far off the Thous. And the Thous rarely (if ever) max out on a ride. [/quote] It's a tricky one this.i'd say my normal running speed is reasonably quick & eventually if i stick to this pace i become comfortable & smooth & gradually i can increase the speed in small increments & keep smooth...if i have to jump up to chase someone i soon come out of my comfort zone & it becomes less enjoyable, after a few corners ill usually recognise this & back off a little. I did it in scotland following the old man when he upped the ante the sly old dog, so i backed off & would soon catch up anyway but i still kept the fun factor. It sounds like slim nick & co did exactly this & im up for that type of riding. With a large enough bunch of foccers we could still end up with a few different packs but all end up at the stops at roughly the same time plus stop too much bunching up. 8) Re: Next Wales meetup - noggythenog - 26-08-13 (26-08-13, 12:54 PM)nick crisp link Wrote: Ah you young things no self preservation, some of us MAY have wives and sprogs. Not falling off though :rolleyes I reckon i could get my finger in a glove now. But the foccin bank holiday post means i have no bike bits. Stand by for some bling when im back out! Re: Next Wales meetup - slimwilly - 27-08-13 Also i have got a new tyre ordered and will be fitted fiday afternoon, ready for the trip to Silverstone. Happy now, i can rest,,haha, at least it made me steady on Sunday. My biggest fear was being pulled by the police then getting points for a defective tyre, then them taking it off the road. Got away with it though. ![]() Re: Next Wales meetup - nick crisp - 06-10-13 Not a definite decision, but if the weather's good next Sunday (13th Oct), might be up for another of these.
