Had some laser cut brackets delivered, fantastic service from LaserFast £33.00 for three brackets, two identical 6mm and one 2mm both mild steel, I sent them some CAD drawings and a member of staff, Nicola went paitently through them with me via several emails to ensure they were correct before cutting them out, and they were delivered within 3 days once we new them to be right.
The two identical brackets are to allow the fitting of a set of Harris adjustable rear sets designed to fit a Kawasaki and the single bracket is for the ignition switch since it found its home on the yokes taken up by the gauges.
I guess you could cut your own for a fraction of the cost but I wouldn't have been happy with my own results and was surprised at the price considering it was for one off's

Took my 600 boxeye for an MOT...passed with no advisories......never failed in 15 ish years of ownership  Big Grin......only 1637 miles this year slightly less than last year......

Yup lol....and 40.000 of those miles were spent driving to and from the repairers so they don't count

Took the Fazer out for its last fun ride this year , lots of bikers out today .

Stripped the rear brake to have a wee check/clean.
Also took off the exhaust and gave it a wee clean and a lick of paint (unfortunately ran out of high temp paint si I just used a Tim of normal matt black) will be out on it on Thursday I hope so I imagine I'll be smelling something :lol
The nuts came off great so I was well chuffed and thanking one of the previous owners Smile

yesterday i had the exup fault show so removed the valve, which as you guessed was siezed solid, toojk it to work today & released it with some wd40 and a bit of time,
came home & replaced it only to find it was slightly bent, :eek so i got a straight edge & a small rubber mallet and now all sorted & replaced, happy days, Big Grin
only had the bike since friday, really surprised the misses as it took me 3 days to get it in bits  :lol

6 months to the day since I had my little fall, I took it for a spin on some private ground and found that, with enough painkillers down my neck I can actually ride again.


Booked in for its MoT tomorrow.  Big Grin

It's only 10 weeks for me since I was wiped out, had to get in the garage yesterday and sit on the Fazer  Big Grin
Don't know how long it'll be before I've got enough strength in my arms to ride again but I can't wait. Just to be able to do some tinkering on her would be nice but don't have the dexterity in my hands just yet  :'(
