personally speaking having owned a few japanese bikes and cars quality is better than german, i think that the O.E. yam ones will be the best but at this time £26 for a set of 4 bits of rubber, is well ludicrous.I may regret buying non genuine but the kids need a new trampoline :rolleyes

Took the downpipes to be sandblasted, it's not a shock to see these as the bike is 18 years old but with a bit of welding work and some paint they should be good for a few more years

Why would i want to spend a wad of cash when the original are good to go.

hmm i have heard that i need to downsize my pictures to upload them
ive got loads wheels,repaired exhaust, new satin matt paintjob, it's rucking focc hard to upload photos to this thread without a serious headachekinda makes the thread shit
but for all those interested in a cheap and cheerful rebuild .... i got it
maybe i'll try downsize the pictures

I see you were having some problems with non OEM brake piston seals as well, how’d you get on with them in the end? Is this the front or rear brake seals?
For the rear I had to splash out on new OEM ones to finish the job. I’m gonna do the fronts this weekend and I’m hoping I can re-use the old ones if they’re not too far gone.

I might have to ditch the "Bike It Raptor 2" headlight/fairing which i had painted in satin matt silver, it didnt pass the TA (MOT) so either i try bribe the the tester
which is possible here in lithuania for a bottle of anything .....or junk the whole thing and get a honda hornet headlight plus fairing.... i know i know but i need to ride it NOW!!Thank you
