Re: A debate section - VNA - 29-12-19 In the 20 odd years I’ve been kicking around this site and it’s predecessors I have started a grand total of one thread that could be classed as political. But as someone with strong political views, if others start a political thread, I’m minded to comment if I disagree with the content. But looking down the list in general, I can’t but help notice the following; Down the pub - the thread about nothing and everything – pish Word Association – pish Three word story – mare pish Whoever posts last is best – yet mare foccin pish Today's "What Gets My Goat" - NO POLITICS! – pish again. But there you go, just my opinion. ![]() ![]() Quote:Not my fault people couldn't read or understand the title "This is NOT an attempt to start a discussion..."Yeah it’s all your fault Grahamm – gotta blame some foccer. 8) Re: A debate section - Grahamm - 29-12-19 (29-12-19, 10:34 PM)VNA link Wrote:Yeah it’s all your fault Grahamm – gotta blame some foccer. 8) On one Forum I used to use, if the OP deleted their first post, the *whole* thing disappeared... Oh, it would be *soooo* tempting... ![]() Re: A debate section - YamFazFan - 29-12-19 I really enjoyed your thread Grahamm. OK it went off the boil a bit after the election, but those of us who contributed to it regularly had a really good banter and at times the wit and humour was brilliant :lol . Unfortunately people who have no interest in the thread and are under no obligation to view it wish to silence us. Apparently we're in need of salvation, whether we want it or not :rolleyes Re: A debate section - Grahamm - 30-12-19 PS I forgot "Whoever posts last..." ![]() Re: A debate section - ogri48 - 15-01-20 (16-03-19, 10:28 PM)Dudeofrude link Wrote:I'm thinking it might be wise for the admin to add a section for these debate type threads that keep cropping up. They are starting to take over slightly and the actual bike elements of the forum are getting lost amoung them.very, very well said dude |
