Re: Ceiling Light Shade Removal Question - tommyardin - 04-01-18

Talking of hammers,

The judge says to a double-homicide defendant, "You're charged with beating your wife to death with a hammer."
A voice at the back of the courtroom yells out, "You Swine."

The judge says, "You're also charged with beating your mother-in-law to death with a hammer."

The voice in the back of the courtroom yells out, "You Dirty Swine."

The judge stops and says to the guy in the back of the courtroom, "Sir, I can understand your anger and frustration at this violent and brutal crime. But no more outbursts from you, or I'll charge you with contempt. Is that understood?"

The guy in the back of the court stands up and says, "I'm sorry, Your Honour, but for fifteen years I've lived next door to that bastard, and every time I asked to borrow a hammer, he said he didn't have one."
:lol

Don't know why but part of my reply earlier went into really small writing... Repeated below...

I've had the same sort of problem many years ago and there were 2 or 3 tiny grub screws.

Bloody Hammers. They park the bus all the game, and get a goal with their first shot  :groan

Yeah, it's still all a bit of a mystery why it still does that, most often when you copy and paste something?

Does the black base slide over some sort of clip in the ceiling rather than turning it, try pushing it from various angles.

Like Darssi, I feel short changed, let down and discarded, all our thoughts on this topic and waking early in the mornings to rush to our desktops and laptops, some to their smartphones to be told 'it was a clip on type'
Like has been said not even a fucking photo of said clip or clips, that's the thanks we get for all out concerns, worrying and sleepless nights because of this problem, how fucking selfish can the man get.  :lol :rolleyes :eek

Re: Ceiling Light Shade Removal Question - mtread - 18-01-18

The old ceiling light clips are now being used to attach the leg shields to the C90....
