Have a Guinness.

Re: Stainless Downpipes - fazersharp - 25-03-17

Yes your link works -- not expensive  ( apary from the Post ) if it works on wood burners then it should be good on the pipes - those wood burners are evil when they get going.

Its funny you should post that can as I an drinking Gunniess (sort of ) right now

Unfortunately I haven't got any Guinness in at the moment, I'll start on the Shiraz then maybe a McEwan's Export or two Smile

Re: Stainless Downpipes - Arfa - 25-03-17

Mine was a 2003 FZS600 and this is what the underside of the original downpipes looked like when I pulled them off about 2.5 years ago:

Didn't seem very stainless to me...

Got set of Motad stainless pipes on now. Shame they've now shut shop.

Re: Stainless Downpipes - vinnyb - 25-03-17

Yeah they are.. It's just a bit of road dirt, clean it off an' it'll be good as new.

Re: Stainless Downpipes - fazersharp - 25-03-17

With those pebbles in the back ground-----  literally looks like they were washed up !!!

Re: Stainless Downpipes - tommyardin - 26-03-17
