I have a suspicion yours may be Ivanised already then. If you're gonna throw all that dosh at suspenders, Ivanising would seem like a small additional outlay to perfect the bike, and it sounds like the previous owner knew what he was about with it.
I had the same thing with the forks on mine. Although Luke set up the rear shock for my weight and riding, the forks were just perfect for me right out of the box off of Ebay (lol).
The thing about the Striple is, you don't really have to do much to change direction. For me, brought up on old heavy stuff though, that takes some of the enjoyment out of it; less rider input=less reward; that make sense? The modified Fazer seems to be just the right balance between sharp handling and input response...or something like that! And it copes with the rough stuff much better - the Striple is easily thrown off line if you hit bumps mid corner, whilst the Fazer just soaks it up and stays on line.
I'm personally not worried about dyno figures if I'm happy with the performance I'm getting. I know that on a full monty, they give somewhere around 135rwhp, but as I'm not chasing further power gains, I'm content not to know the exact figure mine is producing. I don't think it would be too difficult to check physically whether or not yours is Ivanised - certainly cheaper than dyno runs! [/tight git mode :lol ]
Alas, I'm a bit of a way away (Carlisle). But perhaps a meeting half way sometime in the summer :thumbup
