Thanks for all the info and advice guys. Decided not to go with the new light weight, high tech and expensive lithium option. After much thinking and beer drinking I decided to go with a standard battery and bought a Motobat for £55. Nice that it comes precharged so just bolt it in and you're ready to roll. Seems quite well built and has a strong cranking charge. I like the twin terminal thing they do which is good if you want to attach addition electrics without the hassle of having to unbolt the main terminals when you need or want to remove the extras, plus its a nice custard yellow colour :lol

My battery is starting to get tired and I usually replace batteries with a motobatt but I've decided to try one of these, https://www.tayna.co.uk/YT14B-4-Powerline-Motorcycle-Battery-YT14B4-P9626.html half the price of a motobatt and higher CCA, time will tell if they're any good but @ £35 and next day delivery I thought I'd give it a go!
