Re: Seat question - Chris - 07-09-15 :b ![]() You didn't just come here for helpful comments did you? I do genuinely think it mirrors the gap between the frame and the tank, does to me anyway. [/quote] It's for when you have Kim Kardashian as a pillion. :look Re: Seat question - fazersharp - 09-09-15 i have had a good look at mine today and although my gap is smaller at the bottom - my gap between the seat and tail cowl looks bigger than yours so maybe if you could mount your seat further to the tank it would then drop down a bit, my seat touches the tank. Re: Seat question - darrsi - 09-09-15 Unless your seat feels loose it ain't an issue. Tried packing the mount to force the seat to sit lower but made no difference. There isn't enough space around the shoulder of the front mount bolts to move the plastics in any direction. Cant use a plain bolt as it would potentially crack the mount point. Think what I need to do is get the bike back together asap and ride the thing, can't see the gap from there. Re: Seat question - fazersharp - 10-09-15 Paint the bit that you can see under the seat black to match the seat and it wont be so noticeable if it is bothering you Re: Seat question - joebloggs - 10-09-15 This is the answer....... ![]() |
